Job description: Join one of Hollister’s most iconic restaurants! At La Catrina Mexican Grill, we’re looking for a friendly, skilled, and reliable Bartender to join our vibrant team. We take pride in our handcrafted cocktails, especially our signature La Catrina Margarita and the crowd-favorite Cadillac Margarita. As a bartender, you’ll be the heart behind the bar, mixing up unforgettable drinks, delivering top-tier service, and creating memorable experiences for every guest who pulls up a stool. Job Summary As a Bartender, you’ll prepare and serve beverages to guests seated at the bar, lounge, and dining areas. You'll also handle food service at the bar, ensuring smooth operations and unforgettable hospitality from first pour to last call. What You'll Do: - Set up the bar with beverages, mixers, garnishes, and supplies - Prepare cocktails and drinks following standardized recipes - Maintain accurate alcohol measurements and portion controls - Deliver friendly, responsive service to guests and team members - Take and serve food orders from bar guests - Operate POS system efficiently; manage and balance cash drawer - Keep the bar clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout your shift - Assist hosts with answering phones and supporting FOH as needed - Work independently behind the bar when necessary - Follow all safety, hygiene, and alcohol service protocols What We're Looking For: - Previous bartending experience - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of drink recipes and bar tools - Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude Must-have qualifications: - Must be 21+ and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays - Knowledge of drink recipes and bar tools - Minimum 6 - 12 months of experience in bartending - Must be located in commutable distance to Hollister, California, United States Preferred qualifications: - Previous bartending experience - English and Spanish is a plus - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude Why Work With Us?
